Understanding Which PMS APIs Propexo uses

Last updated: March 23, 2026

Overview of Platform Integration

Our platform integrates with third-party APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems. This integration supports both reading data from external platforms and pushing data to them, enabling efficient information synchronization.

Reading Data from External Platforms

When reading data from external systems, our platform maps specific fields to corresponding API endpoints. This mapping is documented in the Propexo API reference for each relevant endpoint.

For example, in the Residents endpoint (this image references Entrata specifically, but the same documentation exists for all PM systems) documentation:

API documentation page for the 'Residents' endpoint, showing details about the 'email_2' field

As shown above, each field in the Propexo API response indicates the specific API endpoint from which data is fetched. This ensures transparency in understanding data sources.

Pushing Data to External Platforms

When pushing data to external systems, the Propexo API documentation specifies the endpoint to which data is written. For security reasons, the exact field mappings are not exposed.

For instance, in the Create Applicant endpoint documentation (the below image reference Entrata, but the same documentation exists for all PM systems):

API documentation page for creating an applicant

The documentation shows the endpoint URL and methods (e.g., "applications/sendApplication" or "leads/updateLeads"), but specific field mappings are not included.
